Successful primary schools share their experiences

The City of Amsterdam is interested in pupils with a potential educational disadvantage and successful ways to help them. It wants to offer practical tools to schools that have many potentially disadvantaged pupils on choosing or improving approaches or measures to improve the performance of these pupils.

To this end, the city authorities commissioned a study into successful approaches to help these pupils, based on the literature as well as examples from primary schools in Amsterdam. This inspiration document, containing seven pillars for better opportunities for pupils, is a report of this study.
